Ingredients:
- Spaghetti (I used whole wheat one)
- 1/2 kg of ground beef
- 1 garlic clove
- Pepper
- Salt
- Onion
- Bay Leaves
- Olive Oil
Tomato Sauce Ingredients:
- 6 tomatoes
- 2 o 3 cups of water
- 4 small potatoes or 2 large ones.
- 1 garlic clove
- Salt
- Pepper
PROCESS:
- Cook your spaghetti with a little salt and 2 bay leaves for about 11-13 min.
- While your spaghetti is cooking, put to heat a pan over medium/high heat with olive oil.
- While the oil is heating, in a bowl, add your beef, the garlic clove cutted into small pieces, the onion also in small pieces, pepper and salt. You stir everything.
- Once the pan is hot, turn the heat down, add your pre-seasoned ground beef, and le it cook. Once it's cooked, turn off the heat.
- Once your spaghetti is ready, you remove the water and add the spaghetti to the pan where your beef is and stir everything slowly so your spaghetti doesn't break.
*Don't forget to get the bay leaves off your spaghetti*
PROCESS FOR YOUR TOMATO SAUCE:
- In a pot you put 2 to 3 cups of water, add the 6 tomatoes, the 4 small potatoes' or the 2 large ones over high heat, cook until the tomatoes and potatoes are soft enough.
- Once everything is soft, put them in the blender and add a little water, salt, a clove of garlic and pepper. Blend everything until it's completely liquid.
- Then, you transfer the sauce to a pot and cook it over medium heat until you see that it's getting thincker.
- Once your sauce is ready, add it to your spaghetti and stir everything.
DONE!
Your Bolognese spaghetti is ready to eat!
